I feel so priviledged to have cedar to build with because it splits so nicely. Respect to the hard work!

You are absolutely right and I say the same thing to this fellow. We should not put pics up that depict this...Trust me, when I run my saw, I always wear one! Thanks obee.

Sorry, too critical a comment without saying that's a nice line and looks to be sturdily built. Good job!

Do you just follow the yellow line through the woods then? Who painted the line? Makes for easy building!

These comments are hilarious!!! Ecopreachers, irate builders, US Gov't comparisons and a hamster wheel debate! You are all mad!

The tree would make a very unique feature which will last and give enjoyment. Maybe as much as a 2x4 would which is what it would end up being. Feature the natural!

Rizzo, my loyal trail dog. He helped dig the holes for the supports under the drop there...fittingly called 'Bones'.

Great sequence shot! The more people show how to do it right, the less we will see inadequate building skills! Good work.

Minimole, that is very nice work. Gaps can be deceiving when working out distances but yours is all about keeping it low and fast, not high and long. Sweet.

Head tube angle is 67 and seat tube angle is 74 (actual 71.9). Makes for a long bike that's a limo on tight singletrack but a ferrari on descents. The Pike doesn't deflect to much either so you can rely on the angles to work with the fork. Confidence inspiring and predictable handling with a Horst link! I like my Bitch.
